Apple is known for Innovation. No matter what Apple always manages to be one step ahead of all its competitors. But talking about Apple’s latest release i.e. iPhone 8 should we be surprised by its poor sale and consider it a failure?
Although iPhone 8 is a phone with glass design and Slow Sync Flash feature yet reports have confirmed the enduring rumors that people aren’t really purchasing iPhone 8. Apple’s shares have met a downfall over iPhone 8’s poor sale. It is essential to note that iPhone 7 last year’s sale was overtaking the latest iPhone 8’s sale.
One reason behind these sluggish sales is an internal sale competition that is going on between iPhone 7, iPhone 8 and iPhone X. iPhone X is a box of new features such as OLED (Organic Light-Emitting Diode) however, despite of the poor face recognition feature, iPhone X is still a crowd puller. On the other hand iPhone 8 is a placeholder phone that has been released to fulfill the demand of iPhone X.
However, this might not be an only reason. iPhone is still the hottest brand in the industry, yet the aging of the brand is still a problem. The new models that are being published, they are losing innovation, which was one of the most desirable feature of Apple’s products.

iPhone 8 the Smart Phone
Since smartphones have climbed the new heights when we talk about advancements and features, the purchaser’s desire for better performance and presentation is reduced.
Other brands such as Samsung and Huawei have also proved themselves as strong and intense competitors. They are releasing some mind-blowing products and their sale ratio has increased. Samsung prospered in selling its Galaxy S8 and Galaxy Note 8 magnificently this year, while talking about Huawei, it has pursued Apple with 0.7% p gain in the market share of 113%.
However, we all know Apple is still the king of technology after it has overtaken Microsoft the ex-computer software giant and no matter what the game is still theirs to win after all this is the fact that makes Apple the world’s most valuable technology company.
